A 53-year-old Linda Vista woman was found dead in her living room Tuesday night, an apparent stabbing victim.
Nita Nevarez, 53, lived in an apartment in the 2200 block of Dunlop Street. Her body was found about 6:30 p.m. by San Diego police officers who got a call to check her welfare, said police spokesman Bill Robinson.
Evidence indicates there may have been a struggle, Robinson said. Police are investigating.
