Canyons’ Horvat Signs to Play College Baseball With St. Mary’s

Bill Horvat, an All-Western State Conference outfielder for College of the Canyons, signed a letter of intent to play baseball for St. Mary’s on a partial scholarship, Canyons assistant Chris Zavatsky said Tuesday.

Horvat (5-foot-11, 180 pounds) is a third-year sophomore from Alemany. He has an on-base percentage of .543 and is hitting .393 with 13 doubles and 22 stolen bases.
