General Automation Reports 64% Decline in Third Quarter

General Automation Inc., the Anaheim computer company, reported that its third-quarter earnings fell 64% to $170,000 from $475,000 in the year-earlier period.

Revenue for the quarter ended March 31 rose 3% to $12.3 million from $12 million.

For the nine-month period, the company lost $186,000, contrasted with year-earlier earnings of $552,000, including a onetime gain of $706,000. Nine-month revenue rose 24% to $36.2 million from $29.3 million.
