Warehouse Fire Still Burns Two Days Later

MADISON, Wis. — Cranes hauled twisted debris Sunday from the burning rubble of a food warehouse complex as firefighters worked to douse the lingering blaze that spewed a swamp of oozing molten butter, cheese and lard.
Billions of hot dogs were among the food destroyed in the fire that caused at least $100 million in damage. Clouds of black smoke billowed from one building Sunday, two days after the blaze started.
