Doug Elliott of Sunny Hills High School will coach the North team and Vince Brown of Tustin will coach the South team in the Orange County All-Star baseball game scheduled June 4 at Anaheim’s Glover Stadium.
Elliott led Sunny Hills to its second Freeway League championship in the last three seasons this week. Sunny Hills has won three league titles under Elliott since he began as varsity coach in 1985.
Brown led Tustin to its fourth league title in the last six years when the Tillers clinched the Sea View League title earlier this week. Tustin has qualified for the Southern Section playoffs six consecutive seasons under Brown since he was named varsity coach in 1986.
Each coach will name two assistants next week and announce rosters in about two weeks.
