Knott’s Expands: A month after Mrs. Knott’s Restaurant & Bakery opened in Irvine, Knott’s officials say it is a success and construction is about to start on a second one, this time in Moreno Valley.
This is the first time that Knott’s Berry Farm has tried to transplant the menu and homespun atmosphere of its Buena Park restaurants to other cities.
Although Mrs. Knott’s Restaurant in Irvine offers an array of salads and healthy fare, the fried chicken dinner is the most popular item. At more than $9, it is also one of the most expensive.
