Long Beach-based IDM Retail Development Corp. has begun the redevelopment and expansion of Westminster Center, which had been a 14-acre neighborhood retail plaza. When completed in two phases, the project will offer 450,000 square feet of retail space on 41 acres. The six major tenants are Home Depot, Child World, Lucky supermarket, Hollytron, Thrifty Drug and a 10-screen Edwards movie theater complex. It is about 70% pre-leased.
