Colton’s Faria Wins Speedway Main Event

COSTA MESA — Mike Faria of Colton won the four-lap main speedway event in front of 5,251 in the Coors’ Spring Classic at Orange County Fairgrounds Friday.
Billy Hammill of Monrovia was second, Lance King of Huntington Beach was third and Steve Lucero of Riverside, fourth.
Phil Collins of Costa Mesa won the four-lap consolation main event.
