GENERALS. A listing of how to identify rankings among U.S. military brass correctly reported that there have been only five five-star generals in the Army, each known as a “general of the Army.” In fact, there was a sixth five-star leader, Gen. John J. Pershing, right, who was actually known as “general of the Armies.”
THE FLAG. Flag etiquette from the American Legion suggests that the flag cannot be displayed at night without light. The group says the flag can fly if there is enough light from a porch, a street light or the moon so that the flag is recognizable.
