No. 1 Arizona State Defeats Loyola, 8-2

The Loyola Marymount baseball team lost its second game in a row Saturday to top-ranked Arizona State, 8-2, before 3,286 in Tempe, Ariz.
The Sun Devils took a 7-0 lead after three innings to knock out Lion starter Chad Dembisky (0-1).
Loyola’s Joe Testa had a home run and a double and Joe Ciccarella added a homer.
The Lions (2-3) lost Friday, 9-1, when shortstop Chris Gomez had an uncharacteristic day in the field. He committed three errors.
The teams complete the series with a game this afternoon. Loyola plays at UCLA Wednesday afternoon.
