Two Fontana Linemen Commit to USC

USC’s football team received oral commitments Tuesday from Fontana High’s standout offensive linemen, Robert Loya and Clay Hattabaugh.
Loya, 6 feet 2 and 285 pounds, and Hattabaugh, 6-3 and 270, were voted to the All-Southern Section team and were mentioned on several preseason All-American teams. They were among thetop recruited linemen in the Southland.
The players said they will sign letters of intent with USC next Wednesday, the national signing day.
