China Peaks

I’ve read some dubious press recently about “Twin Peaks” and “China Beach.” Having grown up part of the television generation and sick of empty sitcoms, I have a deep admiration for David Lynch’s intuitive risk-taking and creative approach with “Twin Peaks.”

“China Beach” is getting hit hard for it’s risky new format...but what a great show! It has depth, continuity and humor.

Bad news: “China Beach” is on what’s being referred to as a “ broadcast hiatus.” ABC says, however, that six more episodes will be shot and aired, but the network hasn’t said when.
