The architect underestimated the cost of Fresno State’s proposed football stadium expansion by $5 million, putting the project in doubt.
The athletic department hopes to increase capacity of Bulldog Stadium from 30,000 to 44,000 seats. However, only $8 million of the new estimated cost of $17 million has been raised, according to Athletic Director Gary Cunningham.
