Thirty-two-year-old Debra Kreps says (Letters, Dec. 16) if she lives to 75 she “will never understand why people in show business think people not in show business even care an iota about Hollywood and its power struggles.”
At 74, I can save her 43 years worth of worrying by giving her the answer now in a single word: Ego.
