Transamerica Corp. has named three senior operating executives to new corporate positions as group vice presidents. David R. Carpenter, 51, has been named group vice president-life insurance and asset management. Richard H. Finn, 56, becomes group vice president-finance. Gerald A. Isom, 52, is group vice president-property/casualty insurance and real estate tax service. Carpenter and Finn are based in Los Angeles; Isom is based in Woodland Hills.
