PREP ROUNDUP : Sunny Hills Rolls Past Orange in Girls’ Soccer

Heidi Gugler, Rhonda Partida and Stacy Thurber each scored two goals to lead Sunny Hills High School to a 6-1 victory over Orange in a nonleague girls’ soccer match Friday at Orange.
Julie Brewer scored for Orange (2-3-1). Sunny Hills is 6-0.
In other nonleague girls’ soccer:
Marina 6, Tustin 1--Jamie Wehrhan and Amy Peterson each scored two goals, and Julie Muche and Rhiannon Tanaka each scored one for host Marina (4-0), which took 40 shots on goal. Cristin Rossman had 14 saves for Marina. Erika Whisler scored, and Kim Kalina had 15 saves for Tustin.
El Modena 2, Mission Bay 0--Molly Schulman scored and Brenda Hinrichs had a goal and an assist for visiting El Modena (3-2). Amy Moreno had three saves in her third consecutive shutout.
In boys’ nonleague soccer:
Anaheim 7, Santiago 2--Michael Tsarnas and Armando Solis each scored three goals, and William Monge scored one for host Anaheim (7-0).
University 4, Century 0--Andy Fuller scored three goals and Anssi Halman one for host University (5-2).
Laguna Hills 5, Magnolia 0--Daynon Higgins and Juan Stutton scored two goals each, and Ryan Miller had one goal for host Laguna Hills. Devon Higgins, Daynon’s twin brother, had 10 saves for Laguna Hills (3-3).
Katella 5, Trabuco Hills 1--Jose Figueroa and Armando Orizaba scored two goals and Mike Rubio one for host Katella (6-1-1).
Villa Park 4, San Clemente 0--Ronald Lou, David Szekeres, Andy Oftelie and Casey Holland scored for visiting Villa Park (6-0).
Woodbridge 2, Costa Mesa 0--Jason Szczuka had two goals in the first half for host Woodbridge (5-3). Jim Wambolt had six saves in his second consecutive shutout for the Warriors. Phil Chezeck had seven saves for Costa Mesa (3-1).
Esperanza 3, Estancia 0--Mark Voit, Sal Hernandez and Troy Duncan scored for host Esperanza (3-2-3).
