Bradley Reaps Harvest for Brilliant Year

The awards keep rolling in for Moorpark College tailback Freddie Bradley, who has been named as the J. C. Athletic Bureau’s Region IV tri-offensive player of the year.
Bradley shared the honor with Rancho Santiago running back Estrus Crayton and Palomar quarterback Brett Salisbury.
Bradley, who broke several national career records this season, rushed for 2,123 yards and scored 32 touchdowns and 198 points for Moorpark.
He recently was named Western State Conference player of the year and a J. C. Grid-Wire All-American.
Other local players who made the All-Region IV team were center Joe Beauvais and defensive end Ron Nielsen of Moorpark; offensive lineman Travis Peterson, tailback Bobby Webster, defensive lineman Robert Tabrizi, linebacker Lolesio Takapu and defensive back Ennis Howard of Glendale; defensive back Sam Edwards of Valley and running back-kick returner Chris Thomas of Ventura.
Antelope Valley defensive back Birk Sopsher was named to the All-Region III team.
