MISSION VIEJO : 2 Board Members to Be Sworn in Today

Saddleback Valley Unified School District Board of Education members Dore J. Gilbert and Roberta Cline are scheduled to be sworn in for their new terms at today’s board meeting.
Gilbert, 40, a Laguna Hills dermatologist, has been a board member for nine years. Cline, 45, a community activist in Mission Viejo, was appointed in June. Cline received 31% of the vote in the Nov. 6 election, while Gilbert received 24% to defeat three other candidates.
The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. at the Education Center, 25631 Diseno Drive.
