COMMUNITY COLLEGE ROUNDUP : OCC Women Beat Rancho Santiago

Reiko Matsumoto had nine kills to lead Orange Coast to a three-game sweep of Rancho Santiago in an Orange Empire Conference women’s volleyball match Wednesday at Orange Coast College.
Orange Coast won, 15-13, 15-7, 15-4, to improve to 8-3 overall and 5-1 in the conference. Rancho Santiago is 1-10, 0-6.
In other Orange Empire Conference women’s volleyball matches:
Fullerton 3, Saddleback 0--Moira Henney had seven kills and four blocks to lead Fullerton (5-7, 3-3) to a 15-4, 15-2, 15-5 victory at Saddleback. Emilie Pavlovich had three kills for Saddleback (5-5, 1-5).
Riverside 3, Cypress 1--Riverside (9-2, 4-2) won 15-10, 15-11, 11-15, 15-3. Kari Calliham had 20 kills and five blocks for host Cypress (6-4, 2-4).
