Pasadena : Hearing on Road Project

A public hearing on a plan to revitalize East Washington Boulevard will be held at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 6, at Marshall Fundamental High School Auditorium, 990 N. Allen Ave.
The East Washington Boulevard Strategic Plan was developed by residents and business owners who want to upgrade a section from Catalina Avenue to Allen Avenue. The plan includes creation of a business association, crime-prevention program, parking and traffic controls, storefront improvements, and replacement of street lighting and trees.
Copies of the plan can be reviewed at all Pasadena libraries and the city’s Neighborhood Connection office, 2057 N. Los Robles Ave., Suite 103; the Armenian Culture Foundation, 740 E. Washington Blvd., and the Armenian Information Service, 419A W. Colorado Blvd., Glendale.
The plan will be presented to the Board of Directors on Nov. 20.
