La Palma Man Is Shot During Traffic Dispute

LA PALMA — A local man was in critical condition Thursday after being shot in the abdomen during a confrontation with three other men, police said.
Thanh Van Vu, 46, was involved in a traffic dispute with the three men on the 4900 block of Berton Circle. Police declined to say what started the argument.
During the dispute, Vu was possibly robbed and then shot with a handgun, police said.
He underwent surgery at UCI Medical Center in Orange.
