PHILADELPHIA — Survivors of the radical group MOVE, which saw 11 members die after police bombed their heavily fortified compound in an effort to evict them, gathered Saturday in observance of the fifth anniversary of the tragedy.
More than 60 homes on 2 city blocks burned after the bomb, dropped on the roof of MOVE’s headquarters, caused one of the worst fires in city history. The fire left about 300 people homeless.
