Cleaning Up After Pets

The letter of Ed Gazich of Laguna Beach (May 6) regarding dog walkers’ duties hit home with me. I could not agree more.
I walk and bird-watch in Huntington Central Park on Sunday morning. That is, I walk and watch where I step because dog owners are out in force walking their dogs and never clean up after them. I am sure they walk them in the park so they do not have to clean up their own yards.
Children are romping and rolling on the grass there every day. They must be romping and rolling in lots of dog poop.
Huntington Beach needs a scooper law.
