Charges Stand for Stephanie Zimbalist Fan: An allegedly obsessed fan of actress Stephanie Zimbalist failed to get charges against him dismissed on grounds that he was examined by a prosecution psychiatrist without a court order. U.S. District Judge John Davies instead on Wednesday barred prosecutors from using the information in the psychiatric report on Michael Lawrence Shields, 42. Shields is accused of sending threatening letters to Zimbalist. The letters included such phrases as “I have in mind some mischief” and “You can run but you can’t hide,” authorities said.
