Victoria Principal Sues CBS: Victoria Principal has filed suit against CBS, claiming that the network breached a contract concerning a made-for-television movie in which she starred. The suit alleges that CBS failed to honor a promise to pay Principal’s production company $300,000 if the network decided not to make a weekly series out of “Sparks: The Price of Passion.” The film featured the actress as the mayor of Albuquerque, N.M., at odds with real estate developers over growth of the city. The actress is seeking $300,000 plus unspecified damages.
