SIDELINES : Lewis to Anchor 2 Relay Teams

AUSTIN, Tex. — Steve Lewis of UCLA, the 1988 Olympic gold medalist in the 400 meters, will anchor two UCLA relay teams at the Texas Relays April 4-7 in the University of Texas Memorial Stadium.
Lewis’ winning time at Seoul, South Korea, was 43.87 seconds, third on the world all-time list. He is scheduled to anchor the 400- and 1,600-meter relay teams. About 3,000 athletes representing about 300 schools and teams are expected to compete in the 63rd annual relays.
