Carmichael Picks Bethune-Cookman

Kevin Carmichael, a defensive back from Valley College, has signed a letter of intent with Bethune-Cookman College, an NCAA Division I-AA school in Daytona Beach, Fla.
Carmichael is the fifth member of Granada Hills’ 1987 City Section 4-A Division championship team to have landed a Division I scholarship.
The others are quarterback Jeremy Leach (New Mexico); running back Jamal Farmer (Hawaii); receiver Kyle Jan (Arizona); and tight end Sean Brown (Colorado).
