Syncor’s Third Quarter Earnings Hit $649,000

Syncor International Corp., a Chatsworth maker of radiopharmaceutical products, said its net income for the third quarter ended Feb. 28 nearly quadrupled to $649,000 from $175,000 a year earlier. Sales for the three month period increased 14% to $32.2 million from $28.3 million a year before.
For the nine month period, Syncor’s net income increased by nearly ninefold to $2.83 million from $326,000 for the same nine months a year before. Syncor’s nine-month sales increased 14% to $94 million from $82.8 million a year earlier.
Figures for both years include tax benefits.
