L.A. Entertainment Reveals Deals: The Los Angeles video retailer said it has agreed to operate 61 supermarket video concessions in central Texas that were recently purchased by Omni Video. L.A. Entertainment also has agreed to acquire Maxine of Hollywood, a manufacturer of active wear. In addition, L.A. Entertainment said it has canceled its proposed merger with Comet Entertainment, another video store operator. Terms of the transactions were not revealed.
