Hollywood : McMahon to Lead Parade

Ed McMahon of “The Tonight Show” will serve as grand marshal of the St. Patrick’s Day Parade on Hollywood Boulevard on March 17, according to the Greater Los Angeles Irish American St. Patrick’s Day Committee.
Also scheduled to be in the parade are Los Angeles Mayor Tom Bradley and his guest, former Lord Mayor of Dublin Ben Briscoe.
The parade’s producing sponsor is the Irish Fair Foundation Inc., a nonprofit cultural and educational corporation that works to preserve Celtic culture.
The parade starts at 1 p.m. at Hollywood Boulevard and Vine Street and proceeds west on Hollywood to Sycamore Avenue. For more information, call (818) 509-8177.
