NAIA District 3 Championship Is Won by SCC

Southern California College, led by guards John Mounce and Terry Scruggs, who scored 25 and 22 points, respectively, defeated Christian Heritage, 90-77, Tuesday night at Whittier College to win the NAIA District 3 men’s basketball championship.
The victory advances the Vanguards (25-8) to the NAIA national tournament, starting March 13 at Kansas City.
Guard Brad Soucie scored 27 points for Christian Heritage (29-6).
