LA HABRA : Council Pay Raise Will Be Discussed
- Share via
Members of the City Council will consider voting themselves a pay raise at tonight’s meeting.
Councilman James Flora asked that a resolution be drafted that would increase the monthly stipend from $300 to $400. At the urging of other members, however, Mayor Beth Graham ordered that the amount be left blank.
City Council salaries among 29 Orange County cities range from no pay at all, as in the cases of Seal Beach and Villa Park, to $690 monthly in Costa Mesa and Orange, said La Habra City Manager Lee Risner.
La Habra’s $300 monthly salary has been unchanged since 1982, Risner added.
