The Los Angeles Music Center Education Division’s annual BRAVO Awards for outstanding achievement in arts education have been won by teachers for the Rowland and Chino unified school districts.
Dave Master, an animation instructor at John A. Rowland High School in Rowland Heights, won in the arts specialist category. The award in the general education category went to Paul Larson, who teaches sixth grade at Levi Dickey Elementary School in Ontario.
The two teachers were chosen from 94 nominees in five Southern California counties, a Music Center spokesman said.
