Charles S. Mechem Jr. will step down as chairman and chief executive of Great American Broadcasting, Cincinnati, at the annual stockholders meeting in May. George E. Castrucci, president and chief operating officer, will succeed Mechem as chief executive. Great American Broadcasting’s interests include FM and AM radio stations, network-affiliated television stations and Hanna-Barbera Productions Inc.
