Amway Air Treatment Said to Reduce Radon: The home-care giant announced that company-conducted tests show its Pureflow Air Treatment System reducing the concentration of radon particles in room air by 60% to 90%. Radioactive radon can damage lungs and is held responsible for as much as 15% of lung cancer deaths. The system also can reduce asbestos, smoke, dust, pollen and other common particle pollutants by more than 90%, according to Amway.
