COLLEGE ROUNDUP : College of Idaho Beats CCI in Baseball

Visiting College of Idaho scored four runs in the fourth to take 5-2 lead and went on to defeat Christ College Irvine, 6-2, in a nonconference baseball game Wednesday.

Christ College Irvine (3-7) led, 2-1, in the third when Michael Bridish hit a two-run home run.

Pitcher Randy Little (2-1) gave up five runs on seven hits in four innings for the loss.

In nonconference men’s tennis:

Southern California College 5, La Verne University 4--Dave Christensen and Mark Merrick each won singles matches and then teamed up for a winning doubles combination in the victory at La Verne. Southern California College is 3-4 and La Verne is now 1-4.
