Atari Loses Plea: A U.S. District Court judge denied a request Monday by Atari Corp. to force Nintendo of America Inc. to change its advertising for its Game Boy portable video game system. Judge Stephen V. Wilson ruled that Atari did not have enough evidence to support its request that Nintendo be restrained from using its current advertising and packaging for the video game. He set the case for trial April 17. (Filed Dec. 7, 1989, Case No. CV89-7071.)
