BERKELEY, Calif. — The good seats for Paul McCartney’s March 31 concert in Berkeley were all sold 1 1/2 hours after going on sale Sunday.
Then the bad seats, those with obstructed views at the University of California’s 60,000-seat Memorial Stadium, went on sale at BASS ticket outlets. They were sold out in little more than two hours.
All seats sold for $30. Berkeley has been promised at least $100,000 from concert proceeds to help the city’s homeless.
