Monrovia : Pamphlets on Businesses
The city’s Public Library and Community Development Department have put together separate brochures to help people start and run their own businesses. The pamphlets, prepared at the City Council’s request, were to be presented to the council Wednesday night.
The library’s nine-page resource guide, which will be available at its reference desk starting Tuesday, lists books, periodicals and agencies with information on starting, financing and promoting a business.
The Community Development Department assembled a business-license guide, available at City Hall, to brief potential business owners on license applications, conditional-use permits and regulations governing sign installation, flyer distribution and remodeling.
