Traffic Violations Just the Beginning

Re: “Keeping Up With Traffic Signals Can Earn a Ticket” (a letter by Judson C. McIntosh, Times, Dec. 10.)
The first sentence in the letter explains it all: “ . . . How low our city has to get to squeeze a few dollars out of our hard-working, law-abiding, church-going citizens.”
Who else, but the hard-working, law-abiding, church-going citizens are going to subsidize the majority of individuals who do not possess such traits?
As for traffic infractions, what about all the illegal jaywalking across the busy Atlantic Boulevard, as well as the U-turns in the middle of the blocks on the same thoroughfare?
Mr. McIntosh, we haven’t seen anything yet.
