Rockwell, WABCO Form Joint Operation

Rockwell International Corp.’s Automotive Operations and the WABCO Automotive Products Group of American Standard Inc. have announced a joint venture to supply anti-lock brakes and other parts to the North American commercial vehicle market.
The new company, named Rockwell WABCO Vehicle Control Systems, will be equally held by the two companies and headquartered in Troy, Mich. It will begin operations by early 1990.
