Aussies in Big Orange: The Australian Ballet, the leading classical troupe of its country, will appear at the Orange County Performing Arts Center Aug. 7-12, according to an advertisement in the latest edition of the authoritative Stern’s Performing Arts Directory. It would be the only appearance on the West Coast by the Melbourne-based company next year. Center officials would not confirm the booking, but said negotiations with the company, last seen in Los Angeles in 1971, are under way.
