DELEGATE: Rep. Robert K. Dornan, who has suggested that the United States “squish” Nicaragua’s Marxist government (A9), may soon be visiting President Daniel Ortega. . . . The Garden Grove Republican was at the White House the other day when he ran into President Bush, who told him that he wants Dornan to be part of the U.S. delegation that will monitor February’s Nicaraguan elections. Dornan and Ortega aren’t exactly strangers: They had it out verbally over a dinner table several years ago. The man who got the two together? Jesse Jackson.
