Coast Highway Project Will Begin on Friday

Construction crews will begin rehabilitating the ocean side of Coast Highway from Jamboree Road to MacArthur Boulevard beginning Friday.
The city’s contractor, Griffith Co., will reconstruct or resurface the two eastbound lanes in two phases. The first phase should be completed within three weeks. Traffic then will be shifted onto the new pavement, and the rest of the roadwork will be done.
