CSUN’s Bonner Wins WFC Honor

Sherdrick Bonner, quarterback of the Cal State Northridge football team, has been selected offensive player of the week in the Western Football Conference after leading the Matadors to a come-from-behind win over Central (Okla.) State of the Lone Star Conference.
Bonner, a junior, completed 17 of 34 passes for 227 yards and two touchdowns--the final one of 17 yards to Anthony Harris with 11 seconds left--as CSUN defeated the Bronchos, 31-28.
