Sequoia Creative, a Sun Valley concern that designs animated entertainment and attractions for theme parks, said it was chosen to create robotic whales and other items for a new $5.5-million whale exhibit in Seattle.
The exhibit, which will include five full-scale, robotic whales and related sets, is scheduled to open an eight-month showing at the Pacific Science Center in Seattle next April. The exhibit later will be moved to several other locations in the Pacific Northwest.
Sequoia’s existing projects include the King Kong attraction at Universal Studios.
