Rolling Stone guitarist Ron Wood’s artistic side will be on display in Los Angeles at the same time he’s rocking out with the band in town. An exhibit of Wood’s paintings, sketches, etchings, lithographs and carvings will begin at the Madison Gallery on La Cienega Boulevard on Oct. 18, the day the Stones begin a four-date stand at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum running Oct. 18-22. Among the subjects of Wood’s brush and pens are his fellow Stones and Chuck Berry. An invitation-only opening party will be held at the gallery the night before.
