50 Hurt as Bus Returning From Excursion Overturns

BALTIMORE — A charter bus filled with young people returning from a late-night skating excursion overturned on an interstate exit ramp early Sunday, injuring at least 50 and sending many to nine area hospitals.
Six youths were admitted with injuries ranging from a compound fracture to head wounds but none of the injuries were considered life-threatening, police said. The cause of the accident was being investigated.
