Carolco to Bid for Vista Units: Carolco Pictures said it will make an offer to acquire all outstanding units in the Vista Organization Partnership for $29 million in senior notes and warrants. Carolco, which through a 49%-owned subsidiary already has home video rights to Vista’s 11 films, said it has also acquired 33% of the Vista Organization and has issued rights to Vista shareholders that would enable them to sell their Vista stock to Carolco in two years at a prearranged price.
