THE SIDELINES : Cubs Win Coin Flip on East Playoff

NEW YORK — The Chicago Cubs won a coin flip today that will give them the home field for a playoff game if they and the St. Louis Cardinals finish the regular season tied for first place in the National League East. The single game playoff for the division title would be held Monday, Oct. 2, at Wrigley Field.
